Testimonials
Very favorable impression. Judge Pratt will leave a long memory. Mr. Beringers presentation was elevating.
I really enjoyed the diverse range of speakers at the conference. The 'rule of law' presentation by Michelle Behnke and 'Why what we do matters' by Judge Victoria Pratt were both very interesting and I found them to be inspiring speakers.
Excellent array of speakers. Clearly knowledgeable and very engaging speakers. It was a very interesting debate on the future of our profession from a number of prospectives and how we should plan or at least attempt future proof our services for the legal consumers of tomorrow. Also happy with the variety of topics available.
The discussion about AI was interesting and a good introduction to a topic about which I had no previous knowledge
I thought the session on "AI in Your Practice" was brilliant! A very interesting, engaging and thought-provoking session. There is a real focus on AI in the industry (both the opportunities it presents and the potential risks) and the points raised in this panel discussion are relevant to both in-house and private practice legal teams.
I found the conference highly relevant to the evolving needs of the legal profession. The diversity of perspectives from across industries made the sessions both enriching and comprehensive, particularly the insights into techno-legal tools transforming legal practice. The fast-paced format kept the discussions focused and engaging, though I felt a few extended case studies in future editions could add even greater depth. Overall, it was a thoughtfully curated, forward-looking event that inspired reflection on how law and technology are converging to shape our shared future.
Every speaker was fabulous from start to finish.
I thought the annual conference was excellent and surpassed all expectations. This was my first time attending and I found all of the speakers interesting and valuable to my learning and understanding of the Scottish legal sector and wider profession. I also found the stalls in the exhibition area very good and every person was approachable and friendly.
Excellent experience & content over whole 4 days.
The keynote speakers were amazing and truly inspirational. Really made me motivated and inspired to progress not only in my work life but my personal life
Truly one of the most valuable CPD days I have attended. The LSS have created a diverse and thoughtful programme with genuinely helpful discussion points.
An excellent conference - with an intelligent and diverse range of topics, the sessions were curated with care to bring together experts and authoritative speakers who shared insights on some of the most pressing issues for the profession.
The Law Society's Annual Conference is a must attend event for me each year.
I thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was insightful and wonderful to be amongst peers in the profession and to see the Law Society of Scotland encouraging change in the profession. It was progressive and forward thinking.
