Our new campaign urges protection of the rights of the less advantaged and keeping legal aid on the political agenda.

Regulation of Legal Services Bill
After a decade-long campaign, new legislation will better protect legal services consumers and benefit Scotland’s legal sector. The Regulation of Legal Services (Scotland) Bill will see the Law Society continue as the independent regulator of Scottish solicitors, while gaining new powers to act in the public interest.
