Summary
Crew’s team of expert witnesses provide reports and testimony on drug issues such as current street prices, trends, prevalence, methods of use, quantities and paraphernalia involved in contemporary substance use. Also regarding the cultivation of cannabis and new psychoactive substances. Crew has provided this service since 1997. Crew is well established in Scottish courts, can be relied upon for up-to-date expertise and credibility, much of it gained through its outreach work, that maintains close connections to the communities taking substances but also through our drug counselling service.
Crew has access to national and local information on the price of drugs and regularly carries out surveys of people who take a variety of substances.

Gael Cochrane
Gael has woked in a variety of posts including Educational Officer, Training and Outreach worker and a Substance misuse developmemt worker with a variety of Organisations, within the Justice system and is currently working with Community Justice Scotland as Development and Innovation lead, she has supplied EW Testimony for 7 years.
Alex Johnstone
Alex has a long career in working around substance misuse within the Justice System, Academia and Social Work. He has been supplying expert Testimony as part of the Crew team since 2013.
John Arthur
John is a Community Worker, and a Drugs and Recovery from addictions expert. John has 15 years' experience giving Expert Witness testimony for the courts in Scotland on drugs issues.
