This conference brings together a wide range of expert speakers to discuss and examine a broad spectrum of issues relating to commercial contracts.

On the Day One, we deep dive into risk awareness, examining both the necessity to implement human right obligations and follow human rights due diligence in drafting to cyber risk and the ever-increasing threat this poses. There is then a discussion looking into commercial mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution before finishing off the day with a panel session discussing the future of moveable transactions.

On Day Two, we hear from experts on increasing data protection concerns within the due diligence process, the benefits and challenges of legal technology and ways in which processes can be streamlined. There is also an investigation into the Subsidy Control Act 2022 from a commercial perspective, looking at the commercial market operator rule and factors to consider in this field. Finally there is a commercial contract case law update and a presentation on corporate insolvency.

By viewing this conference, you will:

  • Understand how to take advantage of using mediation as a method of resolving disputes
  • Consider different circumstances and challenges within this field, therefore improving your overall understanding and awareness of the commercial issues that affect your contracts
  • Improve your risk awareness and understand how certain issues might impact your drafting
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the changing law in relation to moveable transactions
  • Hear about the latest case law developments within this field
