The Contract (Formation and Remedies) (Scotland) Bill is set to bring major changes to contract law in Scotland. From the abolition of the postal acceptance rule to the new statutory test for formation, this Bill aims to modernise Scottish contract law.

Join us to discuss the changes to the formation of contracts in Scots law and the available remedies. This webinar will focus on the impact of these changes in practice and offers essential guidance for all legal professionals working with contracts.

Learning outcomes:

  • Ensure you are sufficiently prepared for the forthcoming legislative changes
  • Gain confidence in advising your commercial clients on their contractual needs
  • Develop your understanding of the statutory position on breach of contract
