Contributory negligence is a complex area of delict law which can often be overlooked when considering personal injury claims. Our one-hour webinar will provide you with the necessary information and practice tips to feel confident when approaching cases involving contributory negligence.

Our expert speaker will break down this area of law to ensure that you receive relevant advice regarding: the burden on the defence and items that must be demonstrated to prove contributory negligence; how liability is apportioned when contributory negligence is proven; and the impact of statutory regulations and legal precedents in shaping this field. Case law will be used as case studies to analyse these different elements of contributory negligence.
