Since the introduction of the Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Act 2018, issues of domestic abuse have become increasingly prominent in the housing sector, particularly in the area of social housing. From the need for social landlords to have adequate policies in place, to the promotion of a human rights approach to tackle gender-based abuse, there are many key developments and challenges that those working in the housing sector need to be aware of.
