Our new Essential Skills for Newly Qualified Solicitors programme is designed to provide training for NQs in areas that are often overlooked.
In this series of practical webinars you will learn how to:
- Manage imposter syndrome, learning techniques and resources for ongoing support that challenge negative self-perceptions and cultivate resilience
- Identify the causes and effects of stress, developing the skills required to effectively manage the stress in your life
- Build a professional reputation, developing a network of connections both online and in person
- Understand what being productive really means, prioritising your day and balancing your workload
Made up of four distinct modules, this programme will help equip and inform newly qualified members on skills they will need throughout their career. Each session will be highly participative and will address the differing needs and wants of the group.

This session aims to provide an understanding of Imposter Syndrome, starting with its definition and exploring the psychological mechanisms that contribute to its development and persistence.
Participants will learn how to identify their own triggers and symptoms, fostering greater self-awareness. The session will also offer practical strategies and resources for managing and overcoming these negative self-perceptions, with the ultimate goal of building resilience and promoting ongoing personal and professional growth.

This training course will help you to identify the causes and effects of stress and assist you to develop the skills required to effectively manage the stress in your life.
