The world is changing fast and dramatically. For employers, understanding the demands of an evolving workplace is crucial. It is apparent that ‘millennials’ and ‘Gen Z’ have a different view of their intended career aspirations, motivations and ambitions, to many of their senior colleagues. These differences can create tensions and pose challenges in succession planning for both large and small firms.

This seminar, targeted primarily at medium to larger sized firms, seeks to explore the current challenges senior partners face in managing the new workplace, in order to identify effective strategies for fostering a dynamic, engaged and ambitious workforce. By addressing emerging cultural shifts, we can better prepare our organisation's to adapt to a changing market.

During this workshop based seminar, we will discuss such themes as:

  • Attracting, recruiting and retaining top talent
  • Understanding and leveraging motivations and ambitions
  • Strategies for managing a flexible workplace
  • Creating and maintaining a positive culture in the hybrid world
  • How you can become an employer of choice for bright young lawyers

To encourage better engagement, this course will take place at the Law Society offices at Atria One. Lunch will be provided before the seminar commences and there will be an opportunity for networking at the end.
