Neurodiversity refers to the natural variations in the human brain and encourages us to consider the strengths of people who think, feel, and experience the world differently.
This training is tailored for solicitors who frequently collaborate with neurodiverse clients. Whether you're seeking to enhance your understanding of neurodiversity, recognise the unique strengths and challenges of neurodivergent individuals, or learn practical approaches to better support your clients, this session is designed with you in mind. Join us to gain invaluable insights and tools that will empower you to effectively navigate and advocate for your neurodiverse clientele.
At the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Identify the traits of common neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Identify both the strengths that come from thinking differently and challenges associated with different neurotypes.
- Apply and promote approaches which are known to promote neuroinclusive best practice when supporting neurodivergent individuals/ clients.
- Understand the benefits of supporting neurodivergent employees and clients within the workplace.
All attendees will receive a delegate pack with Salvesen Mindroom Centre’s It Takes all Kinds of Minds booklet, PowerPoints, videos, and additional resources from the training session. Before attending the training, you will be given links to a few quizzes with background information on the topics of neurodiversity and neuroinclusion at work.
