Join us to reflect on the first year of the Ownerless Property Transfer Scheme and learn more about how you could benefit.

The Ownerless Property Transfer Scheme offers a chance for local authorities, public bodies and community bodies to acquire abandoned property well below market value. This presents an opportunity for your organisation to acquire and repurpose vacant land so that it serves a useful purpose.

We will be joined by representatives from the King’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer, who will provide a deep insight into the application process and practical guidance for applicants.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand how your organisation could benefit from the Ownerless Property Transfer Scheme.
  • Gain practical insight into the application process and develop your confidence in drafting proposals to the OPTS.
  • Learn to identify suitable projects, through developing your understanding of the public interest test and the sustainable development requirements.
