Project management tools and methodologies brings structure and organisation to the running of larger pieces of work in a law firm. This could mean legal work for clients or internal pieces of work. We define a project, at a minimum, as any piece of work which involves more than one person and takes more than one day. Business activities that are proactively planned with clear objectives from the outset will save time, resources and increase the prospects of delivering goals.
This course is designed to introduce you to the key principles of project planning and management and how these can be applied within the legal context. Applying project management principles in a legal setting can help you enhance efficiency, effectiveness and overall success when taking on complex work. Over the course of 3 x 2 hour sessions, our expert trainer will equip you with the tools and techniques that will improve your confidence in managing projects.
This course is suitable for all from fee earners to paralegals, and those working in professional services. The content assumes no prior experience, or technical background in project management.
