Following the introduction of the Leases (Automatic Continuation etc.) (Scotland) Bill to Parliament, we hosted a refresher webinar on the termination of commercial leases. This webinar looked at the power landlords and tenants have to end their lease agreements, and the potential impact of the reforms proposed by the Scottish Law Commission and currently being considered by the Scottish Parliament.

Learning outcomes:

  • Develop your understanding of the mechanisms to end a commercial lease available to landlords and tenants
  • Gain confidence in advising your clients on the termination of commercial leases
  • Understand the potential impact of the reforms under consideration by the Scottish Parliament
