Got ideas for great new content for the Journal?
With the advent of a new-look Journal, a new editor and new publishers, there is a great opportunity to help shape the future of the Law Society’s Journal.
The Editorial Advisory Board will steer the future of the Journal and advise on content which is relevant and engaging for Society members – from practice matters, feature ideas and topical issues that impact the profession.
The content has and is changing, and we couldn't be more excited for what is to come. The Society are seeking Board members from a diverse range of backgrounds who are experts in their field and keen to get involved as the Journal continues to develop.
When we say experts in their field, that isn't just at practice area level. The Journal is keen to have those who have passions and expertise beyond their area of law, whether that be, for example, advocating for junior members of the profession, championing changes and developments to the way lawyers have typically worked, or supporting diversity and inclusivity initiatives. The Journal is for our members and we want the content to reflect that.
With meetings being held every two months and scheduled for 90 minutes, it allows plenty of time for discussion on your ideas, topics and themes, as well as the content already planned.
We are excited to see the new Editorial Advisory Board take shape - find out more on the Law Society’s website on what’s involved and how to apply.
