Notice is hereby given that on 18 February 2025, the Court of Session made an order granting permission for group proceedings to be brought by Dennis Paton as representative party on behalf of members of the group against (FIRST) Stellantis Europe S.p.A. Corso Giovanni Agnelli 200, 10135 Turin, Italy; (SECOND) FCA US LLC, 1000 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA 48326; (THIRD) Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK Limited, 2 Sunbeam Way, Coventry CV3 1ND; (FOURTH) CA Auto Finance UK Limited, 250 Bath Road, Slough SL1 4DX; (FIFTH) Drivalia Lease UK Ltd, 250 Bath Road, Slough SL1 4DX 

The group proceedings relate to claims arising in Scotland from the diesel NOx emissions issues affecting certain Fiat and Chrysler vehicles with diesel engines manufactured to Euro 5 or Euro 6 emissions standards (excluding Euro 6d and Euro 6d Temp). The pursuers allege that defeat devices unlawfully reduced the effectiveness of said vehicles’ nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions control systems and the defenders have caused loss and damage to the pursuers.
