SPONSORED: Ford Group Emissions Group Proceedings

3rd July 2025

Notice is hereby given that on 25 June 2025, the Court of Session made an order granting permission for group proceedings to be brought by Graeme Hamilton as representative party on behalf of members of the group against (FIRST) FORD MOTOR

COMPANY; (SECOND) FORD MOTOR COMPANY LIMITED; (THIRD) FORD-WERKE GMBH,(FOURTH) FORD MOTOR COMPANY OF AUSTRALIA PTY LIMITED; (FIFTH) FORD RETAIL LIMITED; (SIXTH) FCE BANK PLC ; (SEVENTH) ALD AUTOMATIVE LIMITED (“the Defenders”); The group proceedings relate to claims arising in Scotland from the diesel NOx emissions issues affecting certain Ford vehicles with diesel engines manufactured to Euro 5 or Euro 6 emissions standards (excluding Euro 6d and Euro 6d Temp). The pursuers allege that defeat devices unlawfully reduced the effectiveness of said vehicles’ nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions control systems and the defenders have caused loss and damage to the pursuers.

Individuals and businesses who have not previously made a claim in the group proceedings but wish to do so should contact Thompsons, the solicitors acting for the representative party, at the contact details noted below.

Address: Patrick McGuire, Thompsons Solicitors Scotland, 70 Wellington Street, Glasgow, G2 6UA
