MACROBERTS LLP, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee, announces that partners Gillian Craig and Jennifer McKay have been elected to the management board following the departure of Euan Duncan, who steps down to focus on his role as chair of the firm. John Macmillan has also left the board after many years in the firm’s management.
MORISONS LLP, Glasgow and Edinburgh, entered administration on 29 March 2019. The firm’s Glasgow business has been acquired by BLACKADDERS LLP, to which partners Peter Duff, Gillian Brown and Lucy Gannon and 30 staff, are transferring, and the Edinburgh business by THORNTONS LAW LLP, to which eight other partners and 41 staff are transferring. Three individual partners are moving to GILSON GRAY, Edinburgh, WEIGHTMANS, Glasgow, and an undisclosed firm.
RAEBURN CHRISTIE CLARK & WALLACE, Aberdeen, Ellon, Stonehaven, Inverurie and Banchory, has appointed Ishbel Nunn, who joins the Aberdeen office from CLYDE & CO, as an associate, and promoted Aaron Doran to associate, both in its court department. It has promoted Anna Moir to associate and appointed solicitors Mairi Innes and Jennifer Yeats (both formerly of ABERDEIN CONSIDINE) in its commercial team.
RAEBURN CHRISTIE CLARK & WALLACE has also acquired the practice of CONNONS, Stonehaven. Connons’ principal Gordon Ritchie is retiring and associate Scott Rennie will join RCCW’s Stonehaven office. The transfer completes on 30 May 2019.
