Free CPD
The Scottish Paralegal Association was formed to promote the interests of paralegals in Scotland. We believe it important to provide members with the opportunity of CPD relative to your practice area. We have joined with some of our key partners to deliver “Meet & Greet” CPD events. Recent events have included a talk in Glasgow about procedures for taxation of estates, by Brendan Kelly of Callan Taxation Services, and one in Edinburgh by Niall Hassard of TLT about licensing theory v practice. Each event provides one hour of free CPD and is open to members and non-members alike.
Further events are planned for 4 September (Edinburgh), 23 October (Glasgow) and 20 November (Edinburgh). Check our website and newsletters for details.Autumn conference
We are now arranging our second autumn conference, following last year’s success. It takes place on 19 September, again in Dundee. Full details will be issued in due course; tickets will be on sale soon. We would love to hear from you if you have any suggestions regarding speakers or topics you would like covered there. We want it to be a useful and informative event for all who attend.
Please contact the committee if you have any suggestions or feedback regarding our CPD or newsletters
(e: president@scottish-paralegal.org.uk; info@scottish-paralegal.org.uk).
Please keep in touch, using Twitter or Facebook. It is a great way to keep up to date with news and details of upcoming events.
