Scottish Paralegal Association reveals some dates for the next 12 months
18th November 2019 | Margaret McGhee

Once again, the Scottish Paralegal Association will host our Christmas Pie and Prosecco evening, in Edinburgh on 4 December: check our website for more details. The event is open to all paralegals and we hope to see you all there.

As we approach 2020 we have some important dates for your diary. Our annual conference will be held at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow on Thursday 23 April 2020. We welcome suggestions for anything in particular that you would like to see at the conference. We will also be hosting our first awards dinner, in the Grand Central Hotel on Friday 8 May, during which the Paralegal of the Year will be announced. This will be hosted by “Isa” from Still Game, so it should be a fun evening.

We are returning to Dundee once again and our autumn conference will be held on 5 November 2020. Please save the date.

Our regular evening CPD events will continue in 2020, and as always, we are very keen to hear from you in regard to the topics you would like covered. The CPD events throughout this year have been very informative and are a good place to meet other paralegals. At the October event in Glasgow, kindly provided by Central Law Training, John Kerrigan presented an update on changes to the law of succession which was attended by over 25 delegates.
Please check our website, where the events will be advertised. It also includes current vacancies for paralegals.

If you have not already joined us on social media, please do. We are on Facebook and LinkedIn. Please like and/or share our posts so that we reach as many paralegals as possible.
