ET fee remission claim form simplified
The employment tribunal fee remission claim form has been simplified and requires less evidence than before. An automatic check will be made with the Department of Work & Pensions in relation to benefits. There is no need to provide evidence of other income and savings when sending the form, but the tribunal office may request this at a later stage.
The form, EX160, has a guide, EX160A, which has a helpful explanation of each section. The form covers all courts and tribunals in England & Wales, but although it refers to probate, the Tribunal Service in Scotland has confirmed that there is no separate form for Scotland as is the case for Scottish courts and tribunals.
As has been widely reported, the Scottish Government aims to abolish employment tribunal fees in Scotland.
