Letter: Limited title
I have had an opportunity to look at a recently published work, The Lands Tribunal for Scotland: Law & Practice, by Andrew Todd and Robbie Wishart. It is an interesting work which deals exhaustively with the jurisdiction of the Tribunal in relation to the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act 2003. The authors are to be commended for their efforts.
However, I thought it right to issue a word of warning to practitioners familiar with the Lands Tribunal as a forum for resolution of disputes about valuation, or in areas such as tenants’ right to buy or appeals against the Keeper of the Registers. Despite its title, the book limits itself to only one part of the Tribunal’s work.
