Courtroom perspectives

Our courtroom perspectives series is designed as a space for direct dialogue with both legal aid and court practitioners. These sessions will allow us to gain a deeper understanding of location-specific issues and the day-to-day challenges faced by those delivering legal services in court.

While legal aid remains a key area of focus, particularly as we continue to advocate for meaningful reform, these meetings will also give voice to the wider concerns of court-based practitioners, whose insight is vital to shaping our policy and representative work.

Legal Aid Matters

Access to justice is a cornerstone of a fair society — but Scotland’s legal aid system is under threat.

We’re calling on the Scottish Government to prioritise legal aid now. Together, we can ensure that justice remains accessible to everyone — not just those who can afford it.
