Join us in Edinburgh for an opportunity to engage with your peers on topical legal issues. We'll be hosting two sessions:

  • 13:00 - 14:00: lunchtime discussion session for Edinburgh court practitioners at Edinburgh Bar Association Common Room, Edinburgh Sheriff Court
  • 16:30 - 18:00: evening refreshments and discussion for all solicitors practising in the Edinburgh area at Law Society of Scotland offices, Atria One, 144 Morrison Street

You'll hear from our President Sheila Webster and Chief Executive Diane McGiffen, as well as meeting your elected Law Society Council Members.

Agenda highlights:

  • Connect with local practitioners and engage with peers and Law Society representatives on topical legal issues
  • Discuss the latest developments and what’s happening within our profession including: current professional practice trends and the latest policy developments
  • Hear updates on the Society’s future plans directly from CEO Diane McGiffen
  • Ask questions or discuss issues directly affecting you and your business or organisation
