Have you qualified as a solicitor within the last three years and are you local to Aberdeen? Join us for an exclusive event hosted by Law Society of Scotland President, Patricia Thom, and your local Council Member, Arlene Gibbs, where you’ll come together with peers to share your experiences, insights and aspirations in a relaxed and supportive environment.

As well as an opportunity to expand your network, at the session we’ll facilitate an informal roundtable discussion, exploring themes such as:

  • Navigating the transition from trainee to qualified solicitor
  • Career goals and the support you need to achieve those
  • Celebrating successes and identifying challenges you’ve experienced
  • The importance of looking after your wellbeing

We're keen to find out more about your journey in the legal profession so far and how the Law Society can help to support you further.

To register, email us at memberservices@lawscot.org.uk.

Legal Foundations

This new series is designed for solicitors in the first few years post-qualification to come together and talk openly about their early experiences in the profession. Each session offers a chance to exchange ideas, reflect on the transition into qualified practice, and discuss career ambitions, challenges, and wellbeing in a supportive setting. It's also a space to connect with others at a similar stage and help shape how we support the profession in its early years.
