About the session
Fergus Crawley is an athlete adventurer, founder of The Modern Mind and cofounder of Omnia Performance.
Having suffered in silence through severe depression for almost two years, in May 2016 Fergus attempted suicide. Since then, Fergus has raised over £100,000 for Movember through a variety of mental health campaigns focused around endurance challenges and events.
Having reflected upon the mistakes he made previously, Fergus now focuses his message on breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health, alongside redefining masculinity, and individual wellbeing.
Fergus works closely with schools, brands and corporations to share his personal experience and provoke further thought on mental health.
Bringing together his combination of lived experience, conversations had and lessons learned through working with a diverse range of communities, in this session Fergus will provide a unique insight into how to consider mental health within the modern world.
