BME networking and support

In recent months, both Women In Law Scotland and The Glass Network (a network for LGBTQ legal professionals) have launched.

One matter that is consistently raised with the Society in our research is that there is a general appetite for a BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) networking group in the profession.

We're very keen to support law students, trainees, and solicitors from a BME background. We'd like to host an event which brings together solicitors from a BME background and discusses how the Society could offer support to those members or how we could help and support a new group for BME solicitors to launch.
