Law Society of Scotland joins forces with Tilney Bestinvest

1st June 2015 | Law Society news

Leading investment and planning group, Tilney Bestinvest has been appointed as the Law Society of Scotland’s expert partner offering investment management and financial advice for solicitors’ clients.

Part of a series of partnerships the Society is launching this year, the agreement with Tilney Bestinvest will help to provide resources for solicitors looking after the financial affairs of clients and trustees through the Society’s website, seminars and the Journal Magazine.

The award-winning financial services company offers a range of services including financial planning, investment and wealth management and a managed portfolio service. As part of the new agreement, Tilney Bestinvest will provide expertise on investment and financial planning to support solicitors whose clients are seeking additional financial advice.

Lorna Jack, Chief Executive of the Law Society of Scotland, said: “Professional financial advice for clients has become an increasingly important area of work for solicitors as people seek to protect, grow and ultimately pass on their assets. They look to their solicitor for expert advice and our new partnership with Tilney Bestinvest will help our members provide that expertise and help deliver more value for their clients.”

Paul Frame, Managing Director at Tilney Bestinvest said: “We are delighted to announce our exclusive partnership with the Law Society of Scotland. Tilney Bestinvest has a long history of working with the Scottish legal community, helping to strengthen and maintain solicitor and client relationships over the generations. We aim to support the Law Society and its membership by offering additional expert resources on the investment and financial planning matters that will benefit solicitors’ clients.”
