New logo reflects modern, dynamic, inclusive and sustainable legal sector
The Law Society of Scotland has unveiled a new logo reflecting its central role in Scotland’s modern, dynamic, inclusive and sustainable legal sector.
The new look coincides with the Law Society’s 75th anniversary.
Diane McGiffen, Chief Executive of the Law Society of Scotland, said: "I’m delighted to be launching our new look in our 75th year. The Law Society plays a key role for our members and the people, businesses and communities they serve across of Scotland and beyond."
The new logo is designed to work well in digital places and spaces. The Society’s coat of arms has also been refreshed to honour the solicitor profession’s long heritage and tradition.
Law Society of Scotland President Sheila Webster said: "This new logo reflects the bright future that’s ahead for the Law Society and for Scottish solicitors working here and around the world. I’m excited to see it being rolled out. The Law Society’s Council considered this change carefully, and this is the right time to launch a new look.
"The Law Society continues to evolve, as do our members’ needs and the work that they do. Our new look helps present a simple, clear identity that reflects our commitment to modernisation and embracing innovation in areas such as technology, regulation, inclusiveness and sustainability in the interests of our members and the general public."
