Aberdeen partner promotion at Shepherd & Wedderburn

Legal firm Shepherd & Wedderburn has confirmed the promotion to partner of corporate lawyer John Rutherford in its Aberdeen office.

Mr Rutherford joined Shepherd & Wedderburn in April 2016 as a consultant charged with helping the firm grow its operations in Aberdeen and throughout the north east. His promotion coincides with the firm’s acquisition of The Commercial Law Practice, Aberdeen, on 1 January 2017.

As a partner, he will head the corporate team in Aberdeen and the north east, and will continue to be integrally involved in further developments planned for later in the year.
