Advocate appointed Deputy Traffic Commissioner
Advocate Hugh Olson has been appointed to the part-time post of Deputy Traffic Commissioner for Scotland.
While the appointment is for Scotland, Mr Olson will be authorised to act as a deputy to assist any of the UK’s seven traffic commissioners.
He has a longstanding interest in transport law, and was standing junior counsel to the Department of Transport from 2005 to 2009. Currently, he is standing junior to the Ministry of Defence.
