Anderson Strathern boosts construction practice with ADLP acquisition
Legal firm Anderson Strathern has announced the acquisition of niche Edinburgh litigation practice ADLP Ltd.
Managing partner Alistair Dean, who founded ADLP, will become a partner in the firm which he left in 2005 to set up his own practice.
A solicitor advocate, Mr Dean focused on commercial litigation, in particular contentious construction matters. He has a Masters in construction law and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
He commented: “I am delighted to be back at Anderson Strathern, a firm I have always been fond of since working there in my younger days. It is clearly a firm in growth mode and I am keen to enhance the commercial litigation offering.”
Managing partner Murray McCall added: "2015 was a great year for the firm and 2016 has got off to an excellent start with steady organic growth and lateral hires. It is fantastic to be able to bring smaller scale, high quality practices like ADLP Ltd into the business. I am delighted to see Alistair back with us.”
