Anderson Strathern unveils growth results
Legal firm Anderson Strathern has reported an improving financial picture in its 2013-14 results.
Turnover recovered to £21.5m following a fall the previous year from the £22.8m achieved in 2012, and profits were up by 12%. The firm said the results "reflect a strong performance in a legal market which continued to see mergers as well as the disappearance of well-known names".
During the year, Murray McCall was appointed as managing partner and the Glasgow office moved to new flagship premises on George Square. The firm was also re-accredited as a Gold Investor in People and became a living wage employer.
Mr McCall commented: “Profits were significantly improved last year and the firm’s turnover in the first quarter is also up, in a market where some are struggling and we have seen the disappearance of some well-known legal names. I am delighted with Anderson Strathern’s strong performance, delivering great results for our clients week in, week out.”
