Annual promotions round announced at Maclay Murray & Spens
Legal firm Maclay Murray & Spens has announced the promotion of 26 lawyers in this year's annual round to mark the start of the firm's financial year on 1 June.
Five new directors, eight new associates and 13 senior solicitors have been named across the firm's four offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and London.
Promoted to director are James Wilson (banking & finance, Edinburgh); Julie Devlin and Craig Kennedy (both commercial dispute resolution, Glasgow); Caryn Auld (property, Glasgow) and Nick Mole (property, London).
The new associates are Owen McLennan (financial services, London); Mark Meiklejohn (banking & finance, Glasgow); Roddy MacDougall and Bruce McCombie (both commercial dispute resolution, Glasgow); Florinda Soldani (commercial dispute resolution, Aberdeen); Sarah Wardell (commercial dispute resolution, Edinburgh); Paul Young (non-contentious construction, Edinburgh); and Amal Kaur (Property, London).
Advanced to senior solicitor are Peter Brading and Deborah Stefani (both banking & finance, Glasgow); Jane McKeown (financial services, Edinburgh); Harpreet Gundara and Daniel Staunton (both commercial dispute resolution, London); Sarah McCormick (commercial dispute resolution, Edinburgh); Caitlin O’Donnell (commercial dispute resolution, Glasgow); Daniel Staunton and Sarah Walker (both commercial dispute resolution, London); Nicola Bain (property, Glasgow); Kirsty Dickson and Graeme Myles (both property, Edinburgh); Craig Turok (property, Glasgow); and Gordon Wallace (property, Aberdeen).
