Appointments and promotions at Macdonald Henderson
Glasgow legal firm Macdonald Henderson has announced "the largest swathe of appointments in the firm’s recent history", as four solicitors join the firm and two are promoted.
Fraser Morrison, an experienced corporate and commercial solicitor with particular expertise in mergers and cquisitions, corporate governance matters and private equity investments, has been appointed as an associate director in the corporate team, joining the firm from Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie.
Laura Forrest, whose particular expertise is in employment law, has been appointed as a solicitor in the corporate team, joining from Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace, Aberdeen. She is joined by Alasdair Swanson, who has been appointed a solicitor in the corporate team following completion of his traineeship with the firm.
Caitlin O’Dowd has joined as a trainee solicitor in the commercial property team, having previously been with Ashurst LLP.
The two promotions, both to associate director, are Michael Hankinson in the dispute resolution & corporate recovery team, and Maureen Matheson in the private client services team.
