Associate hire for Gillespie Macandrew
Law firm Gillespie Macandrew has appointed an associate to its Edinburgh office as it continues to expand its business.
Chris Gibson, a dual qualified Scottish and English corporate and commercial solicitor, joins as an associate from Newcastle firm Jacksons.
A graduate of King’s College London, who previously worked in Oxford, Mr Jackson has particular expertise in advising software and technology companies and has assisted several start-up and early stage companies through to sale. He is also a chartered company secretary and an English-qualified public notary. He regularly advises on commercial agreements including international trade agreements and intellectual property licences, as well as corporate finance and business sales and purchases.
