Associate promotions round at Shepherd & Wedderburn

Legal firm Shepherd & Wedderburn has announced a total of 11 promotions to associate, eight in Scotland and three in its London office. 

The Edinburgh office sees six advance: Gina Johnston (commercial disputes and resolution), Alison Blair (banking and finance), Flora Asplin (private client), and Chris Devlin, Emma Paton and Julian Poullain (all property and infrastructure).

Two promoted in Glasgow are Chris Garden (commercial disputes and regulation) and Stephen Maughan (property and infrastructure).

In London, those recognised are Charles Boyne (commercial disputes and regulation), and Ian Mack and Stephanie Mill (both planning and environment).

Chief executive Stephen Gibb commented: “This is a really strong group of new associates, and reflects the strength in depth and quality of our people across the business.

“Our strategy has always been to provide first-class expertise combined with personal service and I know that our new associates will play a key role in delivering this. This group in particular has demonstrated a strong professional ethos and an unwavering commitment to our clients and colleagues. Their promotions are well deserved.”
