Blackadders appoints office heads

2nd February 2015 | careers

Dundee-headquartered Blackadders Solicitors has appointed new lead partners to its offices in Edinburgh, Perth and Aberdeen.

Fraser Hardie has joined the firm from Lindsays to head the firm’s Edinburgh office, working in the commercial property group.

Joanne Grimmond, a partner in the residential property department in Dundee, will move to lead the Perth office, and Ryan McKay, partner and head of the dispute resolution team, becomes head of the office in Aberdeen.

A second new hire is agricultural and renewables lawyer Gail Clarke, who joins Blackadders as a director in the rural land and business department. Based at the Edinburgh office, she was formerly with Tods Murray.

Managing partner Johnston Clark commented: “We are delighted that Fraser and Gail have agreed to join us. Blackadders is continuously working to expand and improve its service and our clients in Edinburgh will, I am confident, benefit from their specialist expertise in a range of services.

“I am equally delighted that Joanne and Ryan will be heading up our offices in Perth and Aberdeen and am confident they will prove to be extremely successful in their new roles.”
