Blackadders builds in Glasgow with partner hire
Blackadders, the Tayside based legal practice, has hired a partner to strengthen its recently acquired Glasgow office.
Stephanie Carr has joined the firm after 15 years with Harper Macleod, where she was a litigation partner. In addition to a range of experience in contentious cases, she has significant experience in dealing with both personal and corporate insolvencies, and is an accredited specialist in insolvency law.
She has also been given a role in building up the Glasgow office, which opened in April this year after Blackadders merged with city firm Boyle Shaughnessy.
Managing partner Johnston Clark decsribed Ms Carr's appointment as "a further statement of intent about our intention to strengthen our presence in Scotland's major cities". In addition to its Dundee headquarters, Blacadders is now established in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Perth, Arbroath and Forfar.
