BLM appoints new Family Law head in Scotland
Legal firm BLM has appointed a new head of its Family Law team in Scotland, naming partner Caroline Gillespie to succeed Siobhan Kelly. Ms Kelly becomes a family law consultant with the firm.
Ms Gillespie, who has more than 20 years’ experience in litigation, has concentrated exclusively on family law since 2002 and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in both family law and child law. She became a partner in BLM in 2011.
Karen Dance, partner and head of BLM Scotland, commented: "Having trained in collaborative law, mediation and as a seasoned litigator, Caroline’s 12 years growing family law with Siobhan mark her strong expertise to lead our busy Family Law team. Family law is continually evolving and developing and Caroline and the team are very well respected in this area.
"Siobhan has gained an excellent reputation having been involved in challenging, complex and often high-profile cases and we are pleased that she will continue on a consultancy basis."
