Brodies marks new year with 600 employee count

5th January 2015 | careers , practice management

Brodies, the biggest legal practice in Scotland, has announced the appointment of six new members of staff, four of them solicitors, taking the firm's employee count above the 600 level.

The newly recruited lawyers are associate Fiona Cameron (banking and finance, Glasgow), senior solicitor Danny George (real estate, Glasgow), and solicitors Andrew Burns (land and rural business, Aberdeen) and Rory Forbes (real estate, Aberdeen). They are joined by Elaine Burns, a case coordinator in Glasgow, and Shelley Woodhead, business development manager in Aberdeen.

Brodies now employs 602 people in its offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

Managing partner Bill Drummond commented: “At the start of 2015 I’m delighted to be able to welcome our 600th colleague to Brodies. It is a bit of a milestone for the firm following a period of further investment in our clients and our business as we look to the opportunities a new year brings.”
