Change at the top at Stronachs as Rennie switches to chair role
Aberdeen and Inverness legal firm Stronachs has made a management change as Neil Forbes succeeds David Rennie as managing partner.
Mr Rennie, managing partner for the last 15 years, becomes the firm's first chairman. He will also continue with his corporate client work. He said it was the "right time to hand over", following a year when Stronachs appointed four partners and moved its main office in Aberdeen to new premises. The firm now has 19 partners and about 70 staff.
Mr Forbes, who also remains head of Stronachs' corporate department, joined the firm in 1993 and was made a partner in 2001. Paying tribute to Mr Rennie's "huge contribution", he said he had every confidence in Stronachs' future growth and success.
