Child Law Centre appeals for volunteer help
An appeal has gone out to solicitors with family law experience to help a charity dedicated to advising children in need.
The Scottish Child Law Centre, which describes itself as "a very small and underfunded charity", is looking for help with various tasks, principally dealing with service users’ telephone and email queries and supervising law student research volunteers.
The Centre will accept any offers of time, and can be flexible about times including evenings and weekends. Some of the tasks involved could be done from home.
Anyone in a position to volunteer should contact Iris Quar at volunteer@sclc.org.uk to arrange an initial meeting and discuss possible tasks.
