CMS hires energy partner for Glasgow office

International law firm CMS has appointed energy and renewables specialist Chris McGarvey as a partner based in its Glasgow office, starting on 1 May. Chris

Mr McGarvey, who joins the firm from Pinsent Masons, has a strong practice in complex projects, focusing on innovative technologies. He has advised on many deals involving electricity generation and transmission, waste water and waste to energy projects, and regulatory compliance work for electricity, gas and water utilities across the UK, Western Europe and sub-Saharan Africa.
