Construction partner hire and promotion at MacRoberts

Legal firm MacRoberts has announced the appointment of two construction partners, one by promotion and one by lateral hire.

David Wilson, previously a director in the construction group and part of the MacRoberts team for the past 16 years, has been promoted to partner. Based in Glasgow, he will also work across the firm's other offices in Edinburgh and Dundee.

Gavin Thomson, who previously spent 14 years at MacRoberts, latterly as senior associate, before leaving for Pinsent Masons, is rejoining the firm as a partner, based in Edinburgh but also working from the other offices.

John Macmillan, MacRoberts' managing partner, said the appointments "add further talent and experience to our construction team at partner level".
