Construction partner joins Levy & McRae
Glasgow solicitors Levy & McRae have appointed construction law specialist Richard Barrie as a partner.
Formerly with MacRoberts, Mr Barrie advises on all aspects of the building industry from contract negotiation to dispute management, and has been in volved in a number of complex and high profile cases.
His move comes after expansions during the summer in which Levy & McRae acquired the Glasgow legal practice of Giusti Martin during the summer, when Stephen Giusti and Professor Leo Martin joined the firm as consultants; and which also saw the return as a litigation partner of Tony Caplan, who began his career with the firm.
Managing partner David McKie commented: “We are delighted to welcome Richard Barrie to the firm. His first class construction law experience will be invaluable to our range of clients."
The firm also recently moved to new modern offices at Pacific House, 70 Wellington Street, Glasgow.
