Consultant joins Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace

2nd October 2014 | careers

Legal firm Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace has added to its commercial property department with the appointment of Barbara Calderwood as a consultant.

Formerly a partner with Morton Fraser in Glasgow, Ms Calderwood will be based in Raeburn's main office in Albyn Place, Aberdeen. She specialises in all aspects of commercial property, particularly site acquisition and sales for house builders. She returns to the city where she spent 18 years (latterly as a partner) with the then Edmonds & Ledingham before relocating to Glasgow in 2000.

Callum McDonald, partner and head of commercial property at Raeburn, commented: “We are delighted to be able to bring in someone with Barbara’s reputation in residential development, at a time when this sector is booming again after five or six years of recession. Barbara will be a very valuable addition to our partner-led house building unit, and she will complement the first class service we endeavour to provide to our developer clients."
