Corporate partner promotion at Morton Fraser
Changes in Morton Fraser's corporate team were announced today with the promotion of Paul Geoghegan to partner as Joyce White retires.
Mr Geoghegan joined the Edinburgh-headquartered law firm as a trainee in 2006 and becomes one of the almost 20% of its 44 partners to have been with the firm throughout their careers. His new appointment takes effect from 1 May.
His work focuses on areas including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, Scottish limited partnerships and charity law. He is also part of Morton Fraser’s sports law team, and a director and trustee of Linlithgow Community Development Trust.
Joyce White, who stands down at the end of April, built up the firm's corporate law presence in Glasgow.
Chief executive Chris Harte commented: “Paul’s promotion to partner is very well deserved, and a testament to his commitment to the firm over the past 11 years.”
