Defender insurance firm Keoghs to open in Scotland
Law firm Keoghs, which specialises in representing defender insurance clients, is to extend its geographic reach into Scotland with the opening of a Glasgow office this month.
Two partners, Stefanie Johnston and Douglas Cowan, are already in place and two more will join within the next month, the firm said today.
The Scotland team will focus exclusively on the needs of insurers and compensators throughout the country, over a full range of claim types.
UK-wide the firm is in the top 100, with offices also in Bolton, Coventry, London, Manchester and Southampton.
Keoghs’ move into the Scottish market is the latest in a series of expansions in 2017, following the opening of a London office plus moves to bigger premises for growing teams in Southampton and Manchester.
Keoghs chief executive, John Whittle, commented: “This is an exciting period for Keoghs as our plans for expansion gather pace. Opening an office in Scotland is a vital strategic element for our long term growth, allowing us to stay at the forefront of legal services for the insurance industry across the UK. We are absolutely delighted to welcome such a talented and experienced team to the firm and look forward to providing Scotland with the market leading service for which Keoghs are renowned.”
