Dentons achieves STEP Platinum Employer Partner status
International practice Dentons has been awarded Platinum Employer Partner accreditation in Scotland by STEP, the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning.
Platinum accreditation is the highest of three levels awarded under STEP's Employer Partnership Programme. In 2015 Dentons legacy firm Maclay Murray & Spens became the first in Scotland to achieve the accreditation.
STEP works to improve public understanding of the issues families face in the areas of family inheritance and succession planning, and promotes education and high professional standards among its members. The Employer Partnership Programme supports the professional development provision within partner organisations.
Jenni Hutchinson, head of employer partnerships at STEP, commented: "Dentons has demonstrated its commitment to the learning and development of its STEP members, as well as showcasing a positive work and learning environment. Achieving Platinum accreditation is testament to the strength of the policies and provision that Dentons has in place, and we congratulate the firm on this achievement."
Eleanor Kerr, head of the Private Client & Charities team at Dentons, added: "We are delighted to be recognised for the work we put in to make Dentons an inspiring and supportive place to work in order to best serve our clients. Our private client practice works very closely with our learning and development team to do this, and we are proud to receive this accreditation."
