Deputy Public Guardian retires
Scotland's Deputy Public Guardian, Rosemary Wawrzyniak, has retired from her post, it was announced today.
Ms Wawrzyniak has been with Scottish Court Service for 38 years, latterly as Deputy Accountant of Court and Deputy Public Guardian.
Sandra McDonald, the Public Guardian, said: "Rosemary has very ably supported so many practitioners over the years, offering the benefit of her many years of professional experience; she will be sadly missed but we wish her all the very best for a happy and healthy retirement."
Ms Wawrzyniak has been replaced on an interim basis by Fiona Brown. Her post will be advertised substantively in due course.
